Lucky Josh, we celebrated his birthday for three days in a row. Of course, more than one day of birthday celebration calls for more than one cake. Luca was a super helper and decorated one of them. Lots of sprinkles (right in the middle) and those sugar letters that have been used since my early birthdays at least. He had a really good time and if you looked hard you could find all the letters for "Happy Birthday Dad," it was like a jumble. Food for the brain and belly all in one =)
I made another little one so that he had something to stick candles in on his birthday and just tried some icing techniques I've seen. It turned out alright. Maybe even alright enough to make an appearance on Tessa's cake, we'll see.
Christmas instilled a love of unwrapping presents in Luca. He doesn't get hung up on whether the gift is for him either. What that meant today, for Josh, was that he hardly even had to touch wrapping paper. Lucky him! He is also a super helper in blowing out the candles.
Tessa just likes watching Luca. =) Happy Happy Birthday!
